Steel Strips

Due to the different process, different steel strips are produced, such as cold rolled steel strips and hot rolled steel strips.

Hot rolled steel strips are traditionally split in to two categories, narrow strip and wide strip.Narrow Strip mill numbers have declined in recent years due to the inherently higher costs of production. They differ from the wide strip mills in a number of ways. Wide Strip mills produce the largest percentage of flat rolled products. Normally the mill will have little downstream processing which means that most requires further processing such as slitting, blanking etc.

Detailed Features of Hot Rolled Steel Strip Description

Thickness: 1.8 - 5.00mm.
Width: 145 - 356mm.
Steel grades: Q195, Q235 (6), 65Mn carbon structural steel, 08AL, stainless steel.
Uses: making pipes, cold strip welded pipes, cold bending shaped steel, bicycle structures, small sized press pieces and house hold decoration goods.

Cold Rolled Steel Strip is produced, as the term suggests by the further rolling of strip produced by the hot strip mills.

Thickness from 0.15mm up to 4 mm.
Widthfrom 25mm up to 2000 mm.
Length 1200-6000 mm.
Coil weight: according to customers' demand.
Packing: Weaving bag packing for for protecting the surface, and wooden frames for loading container.
Applications: Cold Rolled Steel or Coil takes use very wide, such as the car make, electrical product, motorcycle vehicle,aviation, precise appearance, food can...etc
